According to NCAA Men's College World Series Game #10 Notes:
Tim Federwicz’s grand slam was the 45th all-time at the MCWS and the first since Georgia’s David Coffey on June 11, 2001, a span of 280 plate appearances. It was Federowicz’s third career homer in the MCWS (16 games) and the 20th of his career (206) games. This home run was also the first home run by North Carolina in the MCWS – as the Tar Heels were the last team to homer in this year’s MCWS. Tim, who lead MCWS – as of 6/20/08 – with six RBIs, drove in five runs against LSU, one of his best in that category.
